He has now walked out agin, this time, I can not afford the rent and am going to be potentialy homeless, also we have a gas and electric bill that is 1500 I cant pay it, as my bills were extimated for the last 2 years, can this amount be added to my bankruptcy debt, also I need to replace my car so I can work and pay a solicitor to divorce him, I need to get a loan, but all doors are closing for me, please cn you help.

was the £1500 debt pre-bankruptcy or after?? also obtaining futher credit which you know you cant really afford to pay back could be classed as fraud if this is the case, which sounds to me like it is??

is it worth going bankrupt again a 2nd time?? or looking into a Debt Relief Order?? have you spoken to the benefits helpline to see if your entitled to anything your not already receiving??

My gas and electric have been estimated since we moved into this property 22 months ago, so I feel a huge portion of it would have already accrued before being declared bankrupt in May 2009, we moved into property in Apr 2008. Also I can afford as i WORK TO PAY BACK A LOAN, BUT I DO NOT HAVE THE FUNDS TO PAY A 1500 UTILITY BILL AND GET A CAR SO I CAN CONTINUE TO WORK.

i just thought id make you aware that was all, with you saying you couldnt afford to pay the rent and could be homeless, i assumed you wouldnt be able to pay back a loan either? sorry if i misunderstood your original post.

with regards to your arrears, i think the arrears that would of accrued during your bankruptcy should be included if you included them originally when you went bankrupt? it might be worth speaking with you Official Receiver to check this? hope this helps :)

Give NDL, Payplan or CCCS a ring so that they can see the whole situation and advise accordingly. There is no charge for the service!

They are there to answer your questions and are not judgmental. We all know how difficult relationship breakdowns are and add money into the mix and the result is misery!

if you're not working now get your benefit entitlement checked. you may have entitlement to housing and council tax benefit and JSA if you're not working now

if your utility bills have been estimated for so long get the meters read and a revised bill sent so you know exactly how much you owe
